The Platform gathers most of the Spanish research groups and centres that contribute to the evolution of nanomedicine. Its composition and philosophy portray a new multidisciplinary and integrating paradigm (chemistry, physics, materials engineering, computer science, biology), which turns out to be the most appropriate to exploit the immense potential of the use of nanotechnology in healthcare.
